Launch! Consulting’s Mission is to assist clients in all things resilient through preparedness and facilitated planning. We prepare people and infrastructure to be resilient and sustainable, enabling our clients to reliably serve their customers, regardless of surprises.

We Are a Small Business: founded in 2011, Launch! Consulting, Inc. is proud to be certified as a woman business enterprise (WBE) and a disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE). We have a diverse team of over 10 full-time staff who have led successful projects in 18 states. We partner with a number of businesses in various industries, including large engineering firms, allowing our organization to provide a wide-spectrum of services to fit client needs. 

At Launch, we don’t believe in mass produced projects that simply “check a box.” We are committed to providing our clients with unique solutions to truly enhance their preparedness and resilience against any emergency.

The Team

CEO and Founder:

Linda Warren

P.E. 

Linda is a professional facilitator and civil engineer (water resources), specializing in community preparedness. She has assisted over 150 clients across the U.S. with emergency planning and resilience activities. Her work with communities includes climate action planning, public involvement and consensus building, as well as emergency exercises. Her projects have provided successful participation from multiple organizations (local, state and federal agencies as well as non-profits) and groups of 2 to 100+ participants. As the recent past chair of the American Water Works Association (AWWA) Emergency Preparedness and Security Committee, Linda serves as a national technical resource in utility emergency preparedness for all hazards. Linda also enjoys conducting team resilience training to create a positive work culture and maximize productivity and collaboration. 

Director of Resilience and Grants:

Denise Nelson

P.E., CFM, ENV SP, LEED AP

Denise has over 20 years of experience in water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure design, construction, and operations. Denise has an extensive background in sustainable development, community and coastal resiliency, and grant writing. She has an unparalleled track record for winning and managing grants for localities. Denise has enjoyed serving as the President of the mid-Atlantic chapter of the American Public Works Association. Localities across the world are familiar with her work as an Envision trainer through the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure (ISI).

Director of Emergency Management Programs:

Brenna Young

CHEP

Brenna has tackled every phase of an emergency, both as a leader in Emergency Management and as a first responder. From developing disaster plans and emergency exercises to suiting up for HazMat incidents and leading command centers through hurricanes and the COVID-19 pandemic, she knows what it means to be prepared. At Launch! her focus is on supporting clients in building emergency management programs with detailed plans, more robust training, and everything in between.
